First post

Well here we go on my first post in my new blog.

I have just recently taught myself to crochet. I had dabbled in it a few years ago but didn't do anything seriously with it....until now.

Before I had Hayley I decided that I wanted to make some sort of blanket for her, so I found a pattern for a Ripple Blanket and lo and behold, it was easy!!!!!

I finished it not long after I got her home from hospital - wove in the ends the day after I got home so she was able to use it straight away. She has had some great use out of it so far and I am really proud of it.

My next project was a Lacy Cardigan for Kaitlyn. With a bit of trepidation I embarked on this task and to my amazement, I did a really good job of it.

Now I am up to my third project and doing a really cute little jumper for Kaitlyn......which is again turning out really well.

I have pictures of all of these items, but my camera is playing up at the moment and won't let me upload them to my computer - grrrrrrr. As soon as I can upload them I will put some pics up for you to look at and you can let me know what you think.
